Dr. Alea A. Baron is a visionary leader who seamlessly integrates clinical psychology and family law to transform the client experience during life’s most challenging transitions. As Chief Operating Officer of Baron Family Law, she combines her expertise in psychology with strategic leadership to deliver innovative, client-centered legal advocacy.
With a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from UC Irvine, Dr. Baron has over a decade of experience addressing the emotional and psychological complexities of family law cases. Her leadership has elevated Baron Family Law into a dynamic organization known for its operational excellence, modern marketing strategies, and compassionate approach to client care.
Dr. Baron oversees all aspects of operations, including managing over 150 active cases, supervising a multidisciplinary team, and implementing business development and marketing strategies that have expanded the firm’s influence. Her efforts contributed to Baron Family Law being awarded the Gold Medal in the 2024 Sacramento Bee’s Book of Lists for Divorce Law.
An accomplished thought leader, Dr. Baron has shared her expertise on influential podcasts such as On Air With Kash and The Behind the Shades Show, where she educates and engages audiences on the intersections of family law and mental health. Her ability to connect with diverse audiences has strengthened the firm’s reputation as a trusted leader in the field.
Dr. Baron’s commitment to service extends beyond her role at the firm. She has held leadership positions in numerous organizations, including Co-Chair of the Fundraising Committee for the 2022 Leadership Sacramento Class, class steward for the American Leadership Forum’s Mountain Valley Chapter – Class XXV, and Past Advisory Board Member for the Salvation Army of Sacramento (SA), and as a founding member and Past President of SA Echelon, she championed initiatives to support education, mental health services, and housing for underserved populations.
Her exceptional contributions to her profession and community have earned her accolades such as Sacramento Business Journal’s 40 Under 40, Business Elite of North America’s 40 Under 40, and the Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser Award from the Sacramento Regional Foundation and Association of Fundraising Professionals. Additionally, she was named runner-up in the 2024 Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Visionaries of the Year campaign for her dedication to fundraising and advocacy for life-saving research.
